Abstract Simulation wells with known parameters are vital in the study of anisotropic methods and logging equipment development. We propose a symmetrically partitioned isotropic (SPI) model, which can quantitatively control equivalent circumferential anisotropy. First, anisotropy flexural wave dispersion SPI model is analysed using perturbation method, azimuth characteristics velocity evaluated numerical simulation algorithm. Next, verified.
